How to try and prevent cavities:
-Having a regular dental check-up ( every 6 months ).
-Brushing your teeth twice a day with a fluoride toothpaste. Sufficiently cleaning in-between the teeth with dental- aids, for example dental sticks, floss. Try not to brush your teeth straight after eating foods that contain citric acid, for example oranges.
– Good healthy eating habits. Try to limit your snacks between meals, especially with sugar, therefore you limit the attacks on your dental enamel. It is recommended to eat three meals a day and no more than three snacks in- between meals, including drinks, this gives the enamel time to repair itself.
